And I really like the job you did on the devil, he just looks so evil and awesome and such. You put a lot of detail into him.
I also like the blue glowyness that God has, and how he's sorta whispy around the edges too. I have to admit though, he looks a little like Zeus.

Peace isn't the opposite of war, it's creation.
Love the highlight work and the imposing pose of God reigning in the demon is great too! More articulation of the demon fingers, so they aren't all in one pose, would've made him even more menacing than he already is.
Also, I know you wanted to use the bed to frame the bottom of the image, but a child's bed would have made the girl look even more vulnerable. The negative space on the left and right wouldn't have been that big of an issue in my mind.
The inspiration is Hannah - 25, but of small stature - felt like she was being spiritually attacked in her sleep... em, rather panic attack/anxiety ish, if I recall. That was the fundamental reason behind most of this.
But yes, Rae has very good points. If there were an option of changing it, i'd prolly change it. I just need to learn to show these to him before I'm done, haha.

However, you make excellent points, and I concur fully. The above is just the original reasoning. Thanks for the input there.
I wasn't sure how effective that the 'reigning in' would look, since the devil's chin/beard thing is covering up where the rope is wrapped around his neck. I'm very glad you like it then.
Agreed on the fingers, btw. But at the same time, those hands are so meaty as they are..... this is certainly a small glimpse at what I deem scary.
Aaron Shuster's "My Savior My God" was played during the entirity of this picture's creation. This is especially odd, since I was painting such a scary creature.... normally I would have had my alternative/hard metal music going. or bagpipes.....
Hah, I tend to picture God looking like Zeus (or rather, Zeus having God features) so that's prolly why. I'm sure the golden lasso thingy helped that look, too. Just went well with the colors...
